In Sevastopol — spring sanitary cleaning of roads

In cleaning, 12 units of equipment and four brigades of road workers are involved. Specialists carry out mechanized and manual road cleaning, paint on -board stones, wash barrier fences and stops.

Mechanical cleaning work passes around the clock — experts work both day and night. At the moment, about 300 kilometers of the roadway have already been put in order, and about 150 stop pavilions were washed. There are 1100 kilometers in the city in total, so the work will continue, -quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol, Deputy Director of the State Pedagogical University «Directorate for the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure» by Roman Bulavkin.

Basically, cleaning includes cleaning of dust, dirt and estimate after winter processing of roads.

What remains under the border part is removed mechanized. Where cars are standing, you have to remove it manually— notes Roman Bulavkin.

Specialists of the GBU «Sevavtodor» also cleanse road signs and fences.

Thanks to a more climatically soft winter this year, cleaning volumes are less significant than in the past.

It is planned to complete the main work on sanitary cleaning for May holidays.
