In Sevastopol — spring session of online lessons on financial literacy

Specialists of the Bank of Russia and professional participants of the financial market will tell schoolchildren of 8-11 grades about the proper use financial instruments and management of personal finances, insurance, taxes and future pensions. Students will get acquainted with the basics of money circulation, learn how to recognize cyber fraudsters and protect their rights. April. The duration of one lesson is 11 minutes. Airs are held on weekdays from : 00 by local time. This allows you to include online lessons in the school schedule and in additional education programs. During the session, for the first time, lessons on the history of money will be held — «Ancient Coins». They were prepared by the employees of the Museum of the Bank of Russia. Students in grades 6-8 will also be able to participate in these classes. Schoolchildren will be told how the first pennies appeared and why they were oval, and they will also be taught how to decipher the chased reliefs on old coins.

Online financial literacy lessons in the region are covered by 100% of general and secondary education organizations. Every year, about 24 thousands of Sevastopol schoolchildren, students of colleges, technical schools, and children from the orphanage traditionally participate in the spring and autumn remote lessons of the Bank of Russia. In the 2022 year, online classes in Sevastopol scored 23, 6 thousand views.
