The preventive action «Wanted», noted in the press service of the State traffic inspectorate in Sevastopol, is aimed primarily at identifying vehicles and drivers who are wanted.
During the operation, using the Potok system, 9 administrative materials were compiled, including three drivers who did not deregister the vehicle with the traffic police. For this violation, the driver is threatened with the imposition of an administrative fine in the amount of 500 to 800 rubles, in case of repeated violation — 5 thousand rubles or deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for a period of one to three months. In addition, a driver was identified who was deprived of the right to drive a vehicle, which entails the imposition of an administrative fine in the amount of 30 thousand rubles, or administrative arrest for up to fifteen days, or compulsory work for a period of one hundred to two hundred hours , — reported the press service of the traffic police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol.
It should be noted that since the beginning of this year, traffic police officers have identified 818 drivers who were deprived of the right to drive, but got behind the wheel again.
The State Traffic Inspectorate warns that the preventive measure «Search» is carried out regularly.
