In Sevastopol, for the seventh time, the International Educational Action «Great Ethnographic Dictation» will be held. Its main goal is to draw people’s attention to the history, culture and traditions of the peoples inhabiting the country. The dictation is held on the eve of National Unity Day in online and offline formats.
Dictation is not so much a test of knowledge as its acquisition. Our multinational Russia preserves the identity of all peoples and respects their culture. Those who take part in the action will rediscover new and interesting pages of history , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the department of internal policy, Sergei Bezdolny.
The action in Sevastopol will be held in a mixed format. November 3 from : to 11: you can write a dictation will be in person at the site of the Sevastopol City National Cultural Center, located at st. Bolshaya Morskaya, 38. There are no age restrictions for participation, documents are not required.
Online, everyone will be able to join the promotion from November 3 to November 8 at official website.
Ethnographic dictation for participants under the age of years consists of 11 general federal issues, older than 10 years — from 11 issues. Of these, 20 are common to all, — are unique for each subject of Russia, and for foreign venues they are dedicated to places associated with Russia outside the country. The working languages of the dictation are Russian, English, Spanish.
The maximum amount of points for completing all tasks is 100. The passage time is 90 minutes. The correct answers will be published on the dictation website before 11 November.
Recall that millions of residents of Russia and foreign countries annually become participants in the action, regardless of age, education, religion and citizenship. The dictation was first held on October 4 2016 of the year, 90 thousands of Russian residents took part in it, and already in 2021 more than 2.5 million people from all regions of the Russian Federation and 95 countries of the world joined the action. In Sevastopol, the action was supported by about 8 thousand participants.
