In Sevastopol, the builder is suspected of Karzh jewelry with his employer

A 43-year-old resident of Sevastopol hired a 40-year-old builder for repairs in his apartment. He did not know about the criminal past of the master, including several criminal records, including for theft, and calmly left him alone in the dwelling.

Such a level of trust did not leave the employee indifferent — he secretly opened the boxes with things, in one of them he found a box with a gold suspension and a ring with a precious stone, and stole them. The stolen jewelry worth 50 thousand rubles, the builder sailed to the pawnshop, and spent the proceeds of 18 thousand rubles on his needs.

Having discovered jewelry after a few days, the owner of the apartment turned to the police.

As a result of operational-search measures, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky district detained an attacker. He faces up to five years in prison under the paragraph of «c» of part 2 of article 158 of the Criminal Code «Theft».
