In Sevastopol, the case of a pedophile went to court

The prosecutor’s office of the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol approved an indictment in a criminal case against a 56-year-old local resident.
He is accused under paragraph “b” of Part 4 of Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (other actions of a sexual nature using the helpless state of the victim in relation to a person under 14 years of age). According to investigators, in July 2023, during the daytime, a man working as a janitor in the village of Kacha brought an eleven-year-old girl he knew to a “wild” beach near the Nash Parus hotel complex. While swimming in the sea, he committed sexual acts against her. The girl got scared and ran ashore. The victim later told her father about the incident, who contacted the police.,” the details of the case were announced by the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.
The investigation was carried out by the investigative department for the Nakhimovsky district of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. The accused was detained and taken into custody.
The prosecutor’s office sent the criminal case with an approved indictment to the Nakhimovsky District Court of Sevastopol for consideration on the merits.
