Sevprirodnadzor, in cooperation with the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol, revealed the illegal disposal of construction waste at 4A Monastyrskoye Highway. On this fact, an administrative investigation was initiated, within the framework of which soil samples were taken for the presence of pollutants.

As a result of laboratory studies, Sevprirodnadzor and involved specialized organizations found that the concentration of pollutants was exceeded, this caused damage to the soil due to its pollution with chemicals , the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Department of Natural Resources and Ecology of Sevastopol Yulia Gavrilov.

Based on the results of an administrative investigation, the Technoservice enterprise was brought to administrative responsibility for failure to comply with the established requirements and mandatory measures to prevent negative environmental impacts that worsen the quality of land. The amount of the fine amounted to 400 thousand rubles, in addition, the damage caused to the environment was calculated, it amounted to 18, 7 million rubles

The materials of the administrative investigation conducted by Sevprirodnadzor were sent to the Sevastopol Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor’s Office.

As a result 30 of June, the Sevastopol Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor filed a claim against the Technoservice enterprise. The enterprise is obliged to restore the territory of the land plot to its original state and pay the amount of damage caused to soils as an object of environmental protection in the amount of , 7 million rubles, transferring the specified amount in favor of the state.

The Leninsky District Court of the city of Sevastopol satisfied the claims of the Sevastopol Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor to impose obligations on the Technoservice enterprise to pay the specified amount of damage.
