Agreeing with the position of the state prosecutor of the prosecutor’s office of the Leninsky district of Sevastopol, the court issued a conviction in a criminal case against a 35-year-old local resident.

He was found guilty of 22 episodes of criminal activity under Part 3 of Art. 30 — p «a» part 4 of Art. 228.1 and part 3 of Art. 30 — paragraph. “A”, “G” of Part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (an attempt on illegal sales of narcotic drugs using the Internet, organized by a group, on a significant and large amount).

It was established that in February 2025, in order to obtain easy and quick earnings, he became part of an organized group and began to work as a “bookmark” in an illegal online store of drugs. He received information from accomplices about the location of wholesale parties of narcotic drugs, packaged them and equipped with a cache with separate doses for direct sales in the city. He placed “bookmarks” in the Leninsky district of Sevastopol, including near children’s educational institutions.

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol during the operational-search measures identified and stopped the criminal activity of a member of an organized group. The attacker was detained. The police seized over 100 g of drugs of Mephedron and methadone from his house and from the caches he equipped. The investigation was conducted by the bodies of the Investigative Committee.

The Leninsky District Court of the city of Sevastopol, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, imposed the guilty punishment in the form of 8 years in prison in a maximum security penal colony.
