In Sevastopol, the fire hazardous situation requires increased attention — Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev

Krympress reports:

At the hardware meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by the governor, they discussed measures to prevent natural fires in the conditions of an introduced special fire regime. It operates in the city on June 16 and is aimed at minimizing the risks of forest and landscape fires, as well as to ensure the operational response of all specialized services.

We see that the fire hazardous situation requires increased attention. We already had cases of fires in different areas — from 100 square meters to several hectares. Fortunately, no one was injured, and property damage was avoided, but the situation is quite serious. New fires are recorded every day. You need to keep everything under control,-quoted the press service of the governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Pravozhaev.

Over the past week, 37 landscape fires have been registered, which significantly exceeds the indicators of the previous weeks. The reasons for most fires are careless handling of fire, including dry vegetation and unlucky cigarette butts. It was possible to highlight the areas where fires most often occur — these are primarily horticultural partnerships and land plots adjacent to forestry.

To extinguish possible fires, 233 people and 42 units of equipment that are part of the territorial subsystem of the RSFS are in readiness daily. The total grouping of forces and means has more than 1.1 thousand people and 166 units of equipment.

Particular attention is paid to the infrastructure: the readiness of the sources of external firewood water supply — fire hydrants and tanks is ensured. 22 new fire reservoirs were installed with a volume of 50 cubic meters in settlements adjacent to forests. On the territory of the Sevastopol Forestry, together with employees of Severodnadzor, 10 more tanks of 25 cubic meters were installed, which allows you to quickly use water supplies for primary extinguishing.

Significant for ensuring the safety of the region is the completion of the construction of a fire depot in the village of Pavlovka. It will provide protection for the Laspi children’s recreation camp and the entire Baydar valley. Let me remind you that in 2023 we launched another fire depot in Ternovka, — reported by the director of the public security department Alexei Krasnokutsky.

Monitoring compliance with fire safety requirements is strengthened by the Department of Natural Resources and Ecology, as well as organizations subordinate to it. Daily patrols of forest zones with consolidated groups are patrolled. The ban on the stay of citizens in the forests and the passage of transport was introduced, with the exception of specially equipped places of rest: the route of the Bolshaya Sevastopol Trail (from Balaklava to Ayazma, Figer Pillars), as well as Toropova Dacha and Turkish Polyana. A round -the -clock duty was organized at the landfill landfill with the equipment of primary stewing products.

The Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market informs land owners about the need to create mineralized lanes, and road services will expand the mowing of grass along the roads adjacent to forests up to 10 meters.

For violation of fire safety requirements in a special regime, strict administrative liability is provided. For individuals — from 10 to 80 thousand rubles, and for legal entities — from 400 to one million rubles.

The objects of the tourism industry are also included in the prevention system — they are required to inform visitors about the rules of behavior in natural areas and possible restrictions.

According to weather forecasts, summer this year will be arid, which increases the risks of large fires. Therefore, the city makes a bet on an integrated approach: from the prevention and informing of the population to strengthening the material and technical base of rescue services.

Mikhail Podvozhaev instructed to pay special attention to problem areas, where forests are in the immediate vicinity of roads.
