In Sevastopol, the fourth exit from the Ogurets transport interchange is being prepared for launch.
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At the transport interchange, which in Sevastopol is known as “Cucumber”, the fourth exit leading to Kamyshovoye Highway is being prepared for launch. Asphalt has already been laid here, and stormwater treatment facilities are being built. At the second exit leading to Balaklava, soil is being sampled and the road surface is being prepared. Monolithic work on the construction of a retaining wall is underway.
The interchange is being built according to the state program for the socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. It will become the largest and most complex in Sevastopol: the object is three times larger than the Yalta Ring. Today, construction readiness is 35%. Completion of work under the contract — end of 2025,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Let us remind you that the project of a two-level interchange provides for the removal of the main direction “Kamyshovoye Highway – Gorodskoye Highway – Balaklavskoye Highway” to the lower level relative to the existing ring. For this purpose, an open tunnel will be built, similar to the Yalta ring. This will eliminate traffic jams when exiting adjacent roads: Khrustaleva Street, Monastyrskoe Highway and the bridge connecting the intersection at the 5th kilometer with the interchange under construction.
