The employees and military personnel of the Russian Guard held a chess tournament for the prizes of the head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. 18 participants — military personnel and employees of special units of OMON, SOBR and other regional divisions of the department held a series of chess parties in the format of Blitz.

In the five rounds of the competition organized through the Swiss system, the Rosgvardists from Simferopol, Kerch, Yalta, Feodosia, Sevastopol and other cities of Crimea fought for victory on the black and white fields of chess boards.

The tournament ended with an unconditional victory of employees of the Department of Huscitation Security in the Republic of Crimea, the soldiers of the Sevastopol special forces of Sobo Sobol, and the bronze, went to the team of riot police, became silver medalists. In a festive atmosphere, the winners were awarded cups, commemorative medals and diplomas.

According to the results of the competition, the best chess players will present the peninsula at the championship of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.
