In Sevastopol, the Governor's Award was awarded to the best teachers
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Sevastopol, a solemn ceremony of awarding the award of the Governor of the city of Sevastopol to the winners of the contest «The Best Teacher of Sevastopol» was held. This is the only competition in the city in which all pedagogical workers of the city can participate — not only in the field of education, but also in the field of culture and sports. The winners are paid a prize in the amount of 50 rubles at the expense of the budget.
At the entrance to the territory of one of the Sevastopol schools, a poster was posted with an inscription that I remember: “We change the hearts of our Children with Love, who will save the World!”. Today these words are more relevant than ever. Today, when we honor and reward the best educators, teachers, teachers of additional and secondary vocational education in Sevastopol, I want to thank you for your concern for our children!
According to the results of the competition «The Best Teacher of Sevastopol», held by the Department of Education and Science in the period from April 1 to 10 May of the current year, the winners were determined — 50 pedagogical workers from 14 educational organizations of the city of Sevastopol: 10 pedagogical workers from pre-school educational institutions (educators, pedagogues-psychologists, teachers-defectologists, music workers); 23 pedagogical worker from 10 educational institutions (primary school teachers, subject teachers, speech therapists, deputy directors for educational, methodological and educational work); 10 teaching staff from 7 institutions of additional education, education and culture (teachers of additional education, music teachers, teachers). 3 teaching staff from three institutions of vocational education (teacher of special disciplines, teacher-psychologist, teacher).
The next calendar year has been declared by the President of the Russian Federation as the Year of the Teacher and Mentor. As you know, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin signed a law on reducing the bureaucratic burden on teachers. We expect that the documentary load on the teacher will decrease at least twice, and the teacher will be able to devote this time to children. I really hope that thanks to your work, the education of Sevastopol will develop, and together we will solve all the tasks set! , the Governor of Sevastopol notes at the end of the ceremony.
