In Sevastopol, the harvesting of grapes is being completed. Gross collection for the 2022 year amounted to , thousand tons from the vineyard area of 4.3 thousand hectares.
Thanks to the strengthening of state support measures for the viticulture industry, over the period from 90 to 2022 a year, more than 2 700 hectares of new vineyards. As a result, the average yield increased by 65%, and the gross grape harvest increased by 1.5 times. State support is received not only by large enterprises, but more and more small farms, which allows them to develop and grow , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Market Natalia Skoryukova.
Representatives of the Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market visited one of these enterprises today on a working visit. The peasant farm «Vinogradar» received state support in the total amount of more than 13 million rubles, of which about 12 million rubles — for 2022 year. Thanks to subsidies, the farm expands the area for planting vineyards every year. Also, 13 units of new equipment were purchased with the funds received.
Currently, we are actively using state support measures. We invest subsidies in laying vineyards, installing trellis systems, and purchasing equipment. Since 700 year, we have planted more than 90 hectares of vineyards. Without this measure, we would have developed much more slowly. This helps a lot , says the head of the enterprise Dmitry Vlasov.
The gross grape harvest at the enterprise this year amounted to 260 tons, which is 2.2 times more than last year.
Recall, in total, within the framework of the state program «Development of the agricultural, fishery and agro-industrial complex of the city of Sevastopol», this year a subsidy in the amount of 247 million rubles is provided for the development of viticulture.
