In Sevastopol, the Health Workers Support Program was extended
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The program to support medical workers, which provides one-time payments for doctors and paramedics arriving in Sevastopol, has been extended until 2030. The corresponding resolution was adopted at a meeting of the Sevastopol government chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev. Let us remind you that doctors who come from other regions to work in state medical institutions receive 1 million rubles, and paramedics — 500 thousand.
This support measure has proven its effectiveness: thanks to payments from the regional budget, this year we were able to attract 17 more doctors and 8 paramedics to work in public hospitals and the polyclinic network. Therefore, of course, the program needs to be extended — in combination with other support measures, it helps us overcome the staff shortage in healthcare— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the city.
Also, the redistribution of city budget savings made it possible to allocate funds for the repair of a magnetic resonance imaging scanner in city hospital No. 5, for preferential drug coverage and for social support for young specialists in the medical industry.
In addition, a new event was included in the state program for the development of healthcare in the city of Sevastopol — “Implementation of the regional project “Combating diabetes mellitus”. According to the director of the Department of Health, Vitaly Denisov, this will make it possible to provide children in need with continuous glucose monitoring systems.
