In Sevastopol, today they said goodbye to two more heroes of the NMD: senior sergeant of the guard, senior operator-decoder of the reconnaissance company of the 810th separate guards marine brigade Yevgeny Selyutin and foreman of the mortar battery of the 5th motorized rifle battalion Igor Mamey.
Evgeny Ivanovich Selyutin was born in the village of A-Kosa, Neklinovsky district, Rostov region. Moved to Sevastopol. Here he served in the military, started a family. He served in the 810th Marine Brigade. Yevgeny Ivanovich died heroically, repelling enemy attacks in the Orekhovsky direction.
Igor Vitalievich Mamei was born in Moldova. He gave many years to military service, moved to Sevastopol. After being transferred to the reserve, Senior Warrant Officer Mamei could not remain aloof from the events taking place in the country. After the announcement of partial mobilization, on the very first day, he arrived at the military enlistment office and left to defend the Motherland— said the governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev about the heroes.
