In Sevastopol, the holiday was celebrated with the All-Russian action «To you, beloved»

From March 6 to March 8, the All-Russian action «To you, beloved» was held in Sevastopol. Within its framework, about a hundred volunteers congratulated the residents of the city on International Women’s Day and presented them with tulips.

Victory volunteers, together with activists of the regional branch of the “Movement of the First”, prepared greeting cards and, together with representatives of the headquarters “We are together — Sevastopol”, handed them over to the families of military personnel during a festive tea party. The guys also addressed the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and representatives of the «Young Guard of United Russia» presented cards and flowers to the wives of the defenders who were in the zone of the special military operation— noted in the press service of the Government of Sevastopol.

In addition, volunteers helped organize a festive concert in the theater. A. V. Lunacharsky — coordinated people and, together with the cadets, handed flowers to women.

The brightest thing is how a 70-year-old grandmother said a lot of affectionate words that we are doing a real job, doing everything right, and wished us happiness, health and all the best— emphasizes volunteer Artem Kostenko.

Volunteers also gave bouquets to girls and women who were met at the railway station, central squares and streets of the city, and to those who spent the holiday at work — in the Sevastopol Blood Center, the Center for Maternal and Child Health, an ambulance, a military hospital.

We always want to give more emotions, especially when a person goes to work, unfortunately, on a holiday. It’s great when women pay attention to the beautiful guys in white windbreakers with flowers and smile— says the head of the department of the Resource Center for Volunteer Support of Sevastopol Anastasia Chuyanova.

In total, the participants of the action handed out about 2.5 thousand tulips.

Recall that the All-Russian action «To you, beloved» has been held in Sevastopol since 2015 as part of the achievement of the goals of the federal project «Social Activity» of the national project «Education».
