In Sevastopol, the Investigative Committee is searching for the owner of fighting dogs that attacked a woman

Based on information from social networks, a criminal case has been opened regarding a dog attack on a resident of Sevastopol.
On the instructions of the head of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Vladimir Terentyev, a criminal case was opened regarding the injuries sustained by a 47-year-old resident of Sevastopol as a result of a dog attack.
While monitoring Telegram channels, a post was found that reported an attack by two dogs, presumably Staffordshire Terriers, on a woman in the area of General Melnik Street. The post is accompanied by a video recording– the Investigative Committee reported.

According to the Investigative Committee, the victim is currently receiving medical assistance, an appropriate examination has been ordered, and the necessary investigative actions are being carried out.
As part of the criminal investigation, all the circumstances of the incident are established: whether the dogs have an owner, or whether the animals are stray. In this case, an assessment will be given to the actions of the authorized services that did not take measures to catch and limit the number of stray animalsthe Investigative Committee clarified.
