In Sevastopol, police officers detained a 44-year-old man who opened firing with pneumatic weapons from an apartment on the third floor and damaged four foreign cars parked at the house. With the power support of the special forces of the Russian Guard, the attacker was blocked in his home and detained as a result of a special operation.

At the scene, the police carried out all the necessary investigative actions, material evidence was seized, and eyewitnesses were interviewed. Currently, a criminal case has been instituted against the investigator of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol on the grounds of the crime under paragraph 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The suspect was detained in accordance with Art. 91 Code of Criminal Procedure. The investigation continues— said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
