In Sevastopol, the payment procedure for school-age children has been changed
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At a meeting of the Sevastopol Government chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, the procedure for a one-time cash payment to school-age children from large and low-income families was changed. Thus, the cash payment will now also apply to children from large families who are fully supported by the state. In our city, these are students of the Sevastopol Presidential School, boarding school students, and students of the Sevastopol Cadet Corps of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. In addition, now the subsistence minimum per capita, and not per family, will be taken into account to determine the right to receive the payment.
In accordance with the budget legislation, the amount of assistance will be indexed. Also, when determining the right to receive the payment, it is proposed to take into account the subsistence minimum not for a family, but per capita. This approach is established at the federal level. In addition, children who are fully supported by the state will also have the right to this payment— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the acting director of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Elena Bardakova.
Parents or legal representatives of the child can apply for the payment. Applications will be accepted starting on August 15 and will last until November 1, 2024.
Please note that you can submit an application to the district department of labor and social protection. You can register at linkthrough the State Services portal or at the MFC.
