In Sevastopol, the project of the second stage of reconstruction and improvement of Victory Park was approved
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Architectural and Artistic Council, chaired by the Governor of the city of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, reviewed the project for the second stage of reconstruction and improvement of the second stage of Victory Park. The development of the project was carried out by Sevastopolstroyproekt JSC by order of the Unified Directorate of Capital Construction.
According to company representative Dmitry Pirogov, when working on the project, the authors were faced with the task of preserving and enhancing the existing landscaping, preserving the structure of the park and its path network, and not disturbing protected zones.
The project involves the arrangement of three playgrounds for children of different ages, the construction of a skate park and pump track, areas with swings and outdoor hammocks, areas for sports and yoga classes, the installation of gazebos, an outdoor gallery, the organization of bicycle parking and parking for scooters. All locations, as noted by Dmitry Pirogov, were developed in subordination to the main alley of the park and taking into account the large residential area located nearby.
The comments that the architectural and artistic council made at the last meeting have been completely eliminated. We moved away from the dark colors of the facades to light ones, thereby supporting the color scheme that has developed in Sevastopol. The Architectural Council also noted the need to present a dendroplan indicating the Red Book trees and to provide landscaping with plants suitable specifically for the Sevastopol region. We carried out this work together with the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes a representative of Sevastopolstroyproekt JSC.
In turn, Director of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources Yulia Gavrilova noted that during the study more than 2,700 trees were described and included in the dendroplane.
According to Dmitry Pirogov, the project also provides for the “Water Play” platform, unique for the Crimean Peninsula — 100 meters of water play channels with dams, dams, and Archimedes screws. According to the plan, the area for playing with water will become a new point of attraction in Victory Park.
Mikhail Razvozhaev noted that further work should take into account the safety of children on the water playground, certification of all its structures and the cost of operation. He instructed Vice-Governor Evgeny Gorlov to work out in detail all technical solutions.
The concept for the development of the area adjacent to the park in the beach area was presented by architect Alexey Vasilkovsky. The architectural council had also previously sent this project for revision.
The concept for the development of the territory involves the creation of a cultural and entertainment center in Victory Park. Here, in particular, there will be a food court where up to 20 entrepreneurs will be able to work. Nearby there will be: a stage, exhibition areas, a children’s room, storage rooms. At the last council meeting, the need to restore the authentic sports ground was noted. This issue has been worked out: the sports ground will remain in the same area, equipment and equipment will be updated— said Alexey Vasilkovsky.
Members of the Architectural Council noted that one of the main comments during the previous review of the project was the organization of drainage.
Local treatment facilities have already been designed and built within the boundaries of the land plot. Since there is no centralized sewerage system, stormwater will flow into VOCs. Domestic sewerage will be connected to city networks; technical conditions for this have been received and project documentation has been agreed upon.says the architect.
