In Sevastopol, the prosecutor's office sent a criminal case to the stateism and attempt on a terrorist act.

The prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol approved the indictment in the criminal case against two residents of Sevastopol: 59-year-old Dmitry Simedov and 52-year-old Konstantin Korolkov.
Simedov is accused under Part 1 of Art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code (illegal acquisition, storage and transportation of explosives and explosive devices), part 1 of Art. 223.1 of the Criminal Code (illegal manufacture of explosives and explosive devices), part 3 of Art. 30 — p. «B» of part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (an attempt on a terrorist act with causing significant property damage and the onset of other serious consequences) and Art. 205.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (undergoing training in order to carry out terrorist activities). In addition, both men are accused of joint committing a crime under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code (state treason).
It was established that in 2023, like, living in Sevastopol, with the help of Internet mixers talked with representatives of the State Unitary Enterprise MOU. At their invitation in July-August of the same year, he took place in Kyiv sabotage preparation in order to assist in activities against the security of the Russian Federation. Returning home, the man, on the instructions of the representative of the Ukrainian special services, made two explosive devices with the possibility of remote acting. In July 2024, on the instructions of his curator, he installed one of the devices on a gas pipeline in the Balaklava district of the city of Sevastopol,-the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol said.
It was not possible to complete the commission of a terrorist act, since the employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol detained him at the moment when he led from the installation site of the device. Both devices were seized: one from the gas pipeline, and the second from the car of the attacker.
In addition, Simedov recruited his acquaintance Korolkov and in the period from January to June 2024, they jointly collected and sent the representative of the GUR MOU information about military facilities of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The investigation was carried out by the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The criminal case with the approved prosecutor’s office was sent to the Southern District Court for consideration on the merits.
