In Sevastopol — the regional stage of the TRP festival among students

The regional stage of the TRP festival among students of higher educational institutions takes two days at the athletics stadium of the 200th anniversary of Sevastopol. On the first day, the participants competed in the personal standings (all -around) by running 100 meters, pulling from a hang on a high crossbar (youths), bending and extending the hands in the end of lying on the floor (girls), tilted forward from the position of standing on a gymnastic bench, lifting the body from the position of lying on the back (number of times in 1 min), jumping in length from the place of two legs. Further, students are expected to run long -distance running tests for men (3000 meters) and for women (2000 meters).

Every year more and more people are involved in the program «Ready for work and defense.» Now the regional stage of the TRP festival is held among students, and I am glad to see the active participation of youth. Students of Sevastopol State University remain the leaders — it was they who filed the most applications for participation — — The press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the sports department of Sports Sergey Reznichenko.

According to the results of the competition, a sports delegation from Sevastopol will be formed to participate in the All-Russian stage of the festival, dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory. It is planned that it will take place in the summer in Kislovodsk and unite 450 participants from all over the country. For the first quarter of 2025, 40 Sevastopolites fulfilled the TRP standard for insignia.
