In Sevastopol, the repair of the highway along Modlinskaya street is being completed

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In Sevastopol, as part of the implementation of the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads», the repair of the highway along Modlinskaya Street (in the Nakhimovsky district of the city) is being completed. Work began in March, the length of the facility is 300 meters.

Repairs here were carried out for a long time and were needed. The work is being carried out ahead of schedule, we plan to complete it this month. The contractor completed the construction of the pavement base, the leveling layer of the asphalt concrete pavement, it remains to arrange the top layer of the pavement and perform landscaping work after the repair of the highway— said Alexander Shiryaev, Deputy Director of the Directorate for the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure.

The site involves an asphalt paver, loader, asphalt distributor, four rollers, four dump trucks, four workers and a foreman.

Asphalt was previously laid on the street, the quality of which has deteriorated over time. Now the coating will be new, very comfortable for residents. Gradually, roads in the city are being improved and put in order, which, of course, pleases— said a resident of Modlinskaya street.

Recall that in total in 2023, within the framework of the national project, it is planned to repair roads with a total length of 51.4 km. Detailed information on all objects of the program is available on the interactive map of the national project link. The map clearly demonstrates the progress of work and intermediate results of the implementation of the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads».
