In Sevastopol, the results of the second day of the festival of national cultures «Sevetnofest-2024» were summed up

The festival guests visited the exhibition of national and cultural societies, got acquainted with the culture of peoples, traditions and customs, appreciated the products of folk arts and crafts, learned the history of the origin of traditional games, attended a concert of folklore groups. For the youngest participants, the organizers prepared a special animation program, folk fun, a soap bubble show, fascinating master classes, where they could immerse themselves in the original traditions of peoples and master unique crafts. Bright photo exhibitions introduced the children to the cultural heritage. Here everyone found something to do to their liking.— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol reported.

The festival is held in Sevastopol for the third year in a row. You see here many children who are immersed in the atmosphere of national cultures and from a very young age comprehend the basis of Russian statehood, which consists of its multinational and multi-confessional diversity. «Sevetnofest» is called upon to unite and once again remind Sevastopol residents that no matter what nationality you are, the most important thing is to maintain the principles of respect and love for your neighbor, while remaining a bearer of your original culture, – the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the department for work with national and religious organizations of the Department of Internal Policy Vladimir Kolesnikov.

The festival «Sevetnofest» is organized with the support of the Federal Agency for Nationalities, the Department of Internal Policy of Sevastopol and the Sevastopol City National Cultural Center.

A very interesting event. I looked at the exhibition, got acquainted with the cultures of the peoples. I also took part in the entertainment of the game zone: I competed in chess, Jenga and air hockey, where I won. I received a bracelet, a «Sevetnofest» badge, gingerbread and a lollipop as a gift. Let us recall that the annual festival of national cultures is aimed at expanding and strengthening the unified cultural space, promoting national traditions. The large-scale event was launched by the second interregional scientific and practical conference, which was dedicated to history and ethnology. The festival will continue in the city’s municipalities.
