In Sevastopol, the results of work with the public within the framework of the national road project were announced

The annual results of work with the public on the national project “Safe Quality Roads” were summed up in Sevastopol. When drawing up repair plans, special attention is paid to roads, official requests for which are received from residents by the department of transport and development of road transport infrastructure of the city, the directorate for the development of road transport infrastructure, Sevavtodor.

This year, within the framework of the national project, following numerous requests from residents, such highways as the entrance to the oil depot, Kaspiysky passage, Polotskaya street, Polotsky passage, Belozerskaya, Akmolinskaya, Prutovtsev, Karaganda, Vosstaschikh streets were brought into standard condition– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the Deputy Director of the Directorate for the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure, Alexander Shiryaev.

Meetings with activists of the project “Road Inspection of the NF/Map of Dead Roads” take place on an ongoing basis. Since the first year of implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads,” Popular Front activists have been helping to monitor the progress of repairs, initiating and participating in on-site inspections. The goal is to improve the quality of road work and successfully implement the repair program, the results of which should be felt primarily by the residents of Sevastopol.

This year, as part of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”, monthly meetings are being organized with community activists at the national project sites. Since the beginning of the year, 24 outings have been organized.

Over the course of 12 months, community activists systematically visited road projects under construction in the region. There was a lot of work. Today, the Directorate for the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure is intensively and efficiently repairing the road network. Our experts have no complaints about the quality of laying the roadway and sidewalks. The credit of trust that the Popular Front gave to our road workers is well deserved. To maintain it, they need to pay attention to work that is usually relegated to minor details. We make sure that the side stones are laid correctly and reliably, that construction waste is removed on time, and that green spaces are not damaged. And the main thing we constantly talk about is compliance with safety measures for all road users. In Sevastopol, roads should be built for people. Work to control the quality of road work will continue– notes the head of the project “Road Inspectorate of the NF / Map of Dead Roads” Maxim Serdyuk.

Thanks to the national project “Safe Quality Roads” in Sevastopol, in total in 2023, road services repaired 228 objects — roads and bridges — with a total length of 97.7 km.
