Officers of the Sokol Special Rapid Response Unit of the Russian National Guard detained a Sevastopol resident who was organizing caches in the hero city.
During the patrol of the guarded territory, the National Guard officers noticed a man hiding something behind the fence of the building. The citizen was detained and handed over to the employees of the territorial police department. During the personal search, a package with a powdery substance (presumably a narcotic) was found and seized from the 39-year-old detainee, as well as a mobile phone with evidence of his involvement in illegal drug trafficking.— the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol reported.
An investigation is underway to determine whether the offender is involved in other similar crimes.
