The preventive operation is carried out with the aim of identifying, suppressing and solving crimes in the field of drug trafficking, including those of plant origin.
One of the main objectives of Operation Mak-2024 is to identify and eliminate illegal crops of prohibited plants containing narcotic substances, identify hotspots of growing wild narcotic plants, organize their destruction, identify and bring to justice those involved in the illegal cultivation of prohibited plants.
Sevastopol police reminds, that the law of the Russian Federation prohibits the cultivation of narcotic plants, and also obliges owners and users of land plots to destroy narcotic plants growing or illegally cultivated on used plots and owned plots.
If you know information about illegal crops of narcotic plants, hotbeds of wild narcotic plants, and also if you have witnessed the sale or use of narcotic drugs or know the place where drugs are being distributed, please report to the duty station of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol free of charge number 112.
