In Sevastopol, the woman transferred almost two million rubles to the cyberfers

One day, a 68-year-old local resident received a call in a messenger from a person who introduced her as a former employer. The caller said that the name of the woman fell into the hands of the special services of an unfriendly country, and now she should expect calls from the FSB officers. This was the beginning of a fraudulent scheme.

The next day, a pensioner really received a call from a person who introduced himself as an employee of the FSB. He explained that she needed to cooperate with the investigation and soon she will be contacted by employees of the Central Bank for further instructions. Soon the woman again called an unknown person who introduced himself as an employee of the bank security service. He explained that in connection with the situation arising, it is necessary to check all the employees whose names came to the ill -wishers. To do this, the pensioner must withdraw all cash from the deposit and transfer them to a «safe account»,-voiced the details of the case in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.

Getting to the persuasion of scammers, a local resident complied with the instructions, transferring 1 million 795 thousand rubles to them. After the operation was completed, the scammers told her that now it was required to wait 12 days.

After the indicated time, the fraudsters again contacted the pensioner and said that her apartment was in credit pledge. At that moment, realizing that she was a victim of deception, the victim turned to the police.
