Today, on the summer stage of Primorsky Boulevard «Rakushka», the II City Theater and Patriotic Festival «Children of War» was held. 33 creative teams took part in the festival program. The winners were determined in the nominations «To the Heart», «Best Theater Group», «Best Theater Team», «Opening of the Festival», «Best Vocal Group», «Special Guest» and «Best Reading».
The Children of War Festival is not only an opportunity for young talents to prove themselves on stage, but also an important step in preserving the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War. We must remember those who gave their lives for our future and pass this memory on to the next generations. During the Great Patriotic War, together with their fathers, older brothers and sisters, at the call of their hearts, with weapons in their hands, thousands of young patriots who fought against fascism went into battle. The glorious military deeds of little heroes will forever remain in our memory. Those who courageously fought with a fierce enemy on the front-line battlefields, in partisan detachments and in the underground. Those who contributed to the coming victory and to whom today’s peers owe a happy peaceful life. The head of the department also stressed that in the future it is planned to support and organize similar projects, which are an important part of the preservation and promotion of our cultural and historical heritage.
During the Great Patriotic War, brave boys and girls were able to accomplish a great feat for the glory of the freedom and independence of their homeland. We must remember them and all those who valiantly defended our freedom, peace and gave the right to life to their descendants. In the II city theater and patriotic festival «Children of War» the winners were: the theater-studio of plastic drama «We are Barefoot», the exemplary educational and theater center of school No. 14, the Cinema Club «Rus», the exemplary vocal ensemble «The Little Prince», the vocal studio » Pro Songs, TBM Theater Studio, Nina Sidorenko, Svetlana Petrova, Vestalia Klepacheva.
