In Sevastopol there are nine electric vehicles per charging station

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The total number of electric vehicles officially registered in Sevastopol, reports «Sevastopol newspaper“, reached 242 units. To service them, the city now has 27 high-speed charging stations:

Such data was announced on social networks by the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev. He noted the rapid growth of electric vehicles in the region. At the beginning of 2022, there were 38 of them, that is, in two years, Sevastopol residents had almost six times more electric vehicles. The governor also considers it necessary to take into account the interests of tourists coming to the city with electric cars, which requires a further increase in charging stations. In 2023, there will be 16 more of them. Five more are planned to be built in 2024. Among the comments on the governor’s post is a request to install electric chargers on the North Side.

Another comment concerns the use of the Japanese CHAdeMO connector. It is used to charge most budget electric vehicles made in Japan, America and partly in Europe. So, in a number of charging stations in Sevastopol, for some reason this particular connector has been replaced with another European one, which, according to the author of the commentary, does not allow charging the majority of electric vehicles available to Sevastopol residents.

At the end of December 2021, the Government of the Russian Federation approved the list of territories for conducting a pilot experiment to create a fast charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. The list of territories also includes Sevastopol.

For one built electric filling station, the city will compensate the investor for 60% of the costs, but not more than 1.86 million rubles. 30% is compensated for technological connection, but not more than 900 thousand rubles.
