In Sevastopol, there are now different approaches to identifying low-income families and calculating their income
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Today, at a meeting of the Sevastopol Government chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, changes to the law regarding state social support for low-income families were approved.
Currently, we determine total family income based on the cost of living for various population groups. In the new approach, total income will be determined based on the cost of living per person, rather than separately for children, the elderly or working people. This means that the average income per family member will be taken into account. In addition, previously, if parents, children and other family members lived together in the same family, their income was also taken into account when determining the need for assistance. In the new approach, this mechanism has changed, and now only members of a specific family will be taken into account, even if they live with other relatives, — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol and.
