In Sevastopol there are raids to prevent forest fires

Employees of the Mekenzievsky district forestry checked compliance with fire safety rules on the lands of the forest fund. The raid was carried out as part of measures to prevent forest fires and fulfill the requirements of forest legislation.

Land plots of tenants of forest plots, owners of summer and garden plots, as well as infrastructure facilities located near forests were checked. During the audit, forestry experts assessed the state of fire breaks, examined the places of rest of the citizens and checked the availability of information tablets on the ban on bonfire breeding. Most land users comply with fire safety rules. However, individual violations were identified mainly related to the insufficient awareness of the population about the rules of behavior in the forest in conditions of increased fire hazard. Additional explanatory conversations were held with local residents,-the press service of the Government of Sevastopol said.

Recall that on the territory of Sevastopol since June 19, a visit to forests is limited.
