In Sevastopol, they are looking into the case of the theft of 21 million rubles during the construction of a clinic

According to law enforcement officers, during the execution of a government contract in the period from December 2020 to October 2023, acts containing inflated data on the volume of work performed and deliberately false information about the quality of materials used were provided for payment. The construction contractor was Teplostroyservis LLC.
The district prosecutor sent the inspection materials to the investigative body. Based on the results of their consideration, the investigative department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Gagarinsky district of the city of Sevastopol opened a criminal case on this fact, — the message says.
The case was initiated under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud on an especially large scale), the sanction of which provides for up to 10 years in prison.
According to law enforcement agencies, the amount of money stolen by unidentified persons amounted to over 21 million rubles. The construction of the clinic was carried out within the framework of the state program for the socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. It was put into operation and is functioning.
