In Sevastopol, they extinguished a fire on Khryukin Street — 17 people and pets were evacuated

On September 25, at 15:08, the operational duty shift of the Crisis Management Center of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the city of Sevastopol received a message that black smoke was coming from the window of a multi-story residential building along Khryukin Street.
The forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia immediately moved to the site: two departments and a ladder truck of the 1st fire and rescue unit, one department of the 2nd fire and rescue unit, a fire extinguishing and rescue service — a total of 15 personnel and 6 pieces of equipment. Upon arrival, the units determined that the apartment on the sixth floor was on fire and there was heavy smoke in the entrance. Immediately, the firefighters turned on respiratory and vision protection devices and entered the home, using the gun to extinguish the fire. At the same time, the evacuation of residents from neighboring apartments was undertaken — people were notified of the need to go to fresh air. A total of 17 citizens emerged from the smoke-filled premises. In the shortest possible time, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations managed to localize the flame and eliminate open burning, preventing the fire from spreading. The fire area was 30 square meters. It was completely eliminated at 16:55. There were no dead or injured. The causes and circumstances of the incident are being established.
