In Sevastopol, they found a solution to finish the construction of problematic houses

Investors who will complete the construction of problem houses in Sevastopol will be able to obtain land for rent without holding a tender. For this purpose, a corresponding order of the governor will be prepared. The decision was made on September 29 at a meeting of the Sevastopol government.
Today, the Unified Register of Problem Facilities includes 12 unfinished Sevastopol houses. According to information and O. Director of the Capital Construction Department Mikhail Ivantsiv, 712 people who invested money in real estate construction suffered from the actions of unscrupulous developers. The government of Sevastopol approved a schedule for restoring their rights.
Currently, investors are being sought to complete the construction of five houses. The allocation of additional land plots for companies without a competition will allow this process not to be delayed and the work to be completed as soon as possible.
Of the 12 projects, seven are under construction: financial issues have been resolved and federal funds have been allocated. We plan to attract investors for five facilities to complete construction and commissioning as soon as possiblesaid Mikhail Ivantsiv.
Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev noted that the practice of providing plots to developers working with problematic properties is common in all regions of Russia.
The investor is provided with an additional plot without bidding so that he can first fulfill his obligations to the city and then make money on the construction of new facilities. In all regions there is such a norm that allows the construction of problematic houses to be completedthe head of the city emphasized.
According to the press service of the city government, in Sevastopol there is a commission to regulate urban planning activities during the commissioning of constructed (reconstructed) capital construction projects. As a result of the work of the commission in 2020-2022, it was possible to resolve problematic issues that had not been resolved for years; more than 97,000 square meters of housing in problem buildings were put into operation.
