In Sevastopol, they launched a program for teaching veterans to their oratory skills

In Sevastopol, an official launch of a special educational program for Veterans of SV took place. Within the framework of the project, participants will be taught skills in working with the audience, the rules of effective public performance and various oratory techniques. Useful knowledge and experience will be gained, including participants in the Sevastopol — City of Heroes.

The launch of the program became possible thanks to the agreement of the Knowledge Society and the Association of Veterans of his Sevastopol. The purpose of the program is to prepare veterans for work with a school audience, students in Sevastopol.

The agreement will become the basis for the implementation of a number of new initiatives aimed at increasing measures in the field of patriotic education of youth, strengthening the lecture composition of the Knowledge Society from among the veterans of Swate, veterans of military operations. We also planned training for veterans with their skills in public performances, psychology of working with different audience, media literacy,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as the head of the Sevastopol branch of the Knowledge Society Anna Glukhova.

The key emphasis of the agreement is to strengthen system work with Veterans of his own and veterans of military operations. Partners plan a joint organization of educational events for the youth of the city, as well as the continuation of educational programs for veterans. In addition to oratory, training will include the psychology of communication with different audiences and the basics of media literacy.

For us, this is a step towards a real dialogue. “Knowledge” is a strong and respected organization where educational lectures, meetings with experts, and marathons have long been going on. This is the very place where young people communicate in a dialogue with outstanding lectures from different spheres. And it is important for us that our veterans collaborate with youth, talk about their exploits and our country— said the chairman of the Association of Veterans of his Sevastopol, Hero of Russia Roman Kulakov.

Recall that in the framework of the program “Sevastopol — City of Heroes”, training will also be held, for each participant they will draw up an individual plan of professional development and determine the mentor.
