In Sevastopol, they launched the regional stage of the Abilimpix championship

From April 14 to 17, Sevastopol will host competitions of the VIII regional stage of the Championship in professional skills among disabled people and people with disabilities of Abilimpix, the Russian — Country of Opportunities.

The championship has been held in Sevastopol since 2018, and throughout Russia since 2015. Such events allow you to motivate children with disabilities, disabilities, to obtain a profession, and improve themselves as a professional. The guys realize that they are capable of and can overcome any obstacles to obtaining a profession. They can be an example for others. Children with disabilities go to kindergartens, schools, colleges. Compensation groups are opened in kindergartens, and correctional classes in schools are increasing. Our task is to create all the necessary conditions for education, training, development at all levels of education,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science Elena Andrus.

This year, 100 children became participants in the championship who will compete in 18 competencies at 7 sites. The current championship has been opening the second decade of the Abilimpix movement in Russia.

I wanted to take part to show that I am a specialist and prove myself, improve professional qualities. The championship is a motivation for action, a signal that you need to continue to live and strive for the better. I participate in the championship as a specialist massage therapist, there are 10 participants in total. Competitions will be held with models that will need to do massage. My moral support is a guide dog, it is she who will bring me to where the competition will be held. The main thing is to take part, but it will also be pleasant to win, — The member of the championship Lyubov Zelenskaya told.

Among the competitive directions: pancakes, barista, cook, fine art, silk painting, landscape design, decorative and applied art (Gorodetskaya painting), a working green economy, processing of text, adaptive physical culture, psychology, preschool education, knitting, knitting, massage therapist.

Recall that the winners of the regional stage will be able to take part in the National Championship «Abilimpix», which will traditionally be held in Moscow in October of this year.
