In Sevastopol, they launched the regional stage of the All -Russian contest «Teacher of the Year of Russia — 2025»

The main criteria for evaluating teachers are methodological and psychological and pedagogical skill, the implementation of educational tasks, communication, the ability to correctly conduct a reflection of the lesson. The competition takes place in order to identify talented teachers and disseminate the best pedagogical experience and raise the prestige of the profession of a teacher. The jury includes representatives of the Department of Education and Science, Director of Schools, winners of the Teacher of the Year competition of different years. The winner of the regional stage of the Teacher of the Year contest will take part in the final stage at the All -Russian level,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as chairman of the jury of the regional stage of the Teacher of the Year, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science Elena Andrus.

The correspondence stage of the competition was held in the period from March 5 to 21. Full -time competitive tests based on secondary schools No. 58 and No. 54 will be held in the period from April 7 to 11. During this time, the participants must pass four full-time competitive tests: “Lesson”, “Pedagogical Interview”, “Master Class” and “Blitzturner”.

The first test was the format of «Lesson». During it, for 35 minutes, teachers showed professional competencies in the field of design, organization and conduct of the lesson, and they also had to substantiate the use of methodological approaches, techniques and technologies in accordance with the declared theme and targeted landmarks, conduct an introspection of the lesson and answer questions of the jury members.

To teach me to live, which is why I am here, the return and gratitude of children is the main incentive. In this competition, I take part for the first time, I went to this for a long time, and this is a conscious decision. It is important for me that it is not victory, but participation — to get experience and not just get out of the comfort zone, but to expand it. A real teacher is one who can be an example for children, who has kindness and justice with understanding and taking into account age and life circumstances— said the teacher of history and social studies of the gymnasium No. 8 Alla Gigalova.

Recall that the All -Russian contest «Teacher of the Year of Russia» in Sevastopol has been held since 2014. For 11 years, 112 teachers of educational institutions of the city took part in the competition.
