The day before, in Sevastopol, captain and pilot Fyodor Grabovetsky was seen off on his last journey.

Fedor Igorevich was born in Simferopol, in the family of a military man, then moved with his family to Kacha. He studied at Kachin secondary school. Since childhood, Fedor dreamed of becoming a military pilot, following in his father’s footsteps. Fedor entered the St. Petersburg Cadet Corps. Peter the Great, after graduating from which he entered the Krasnodar Higher Military Pilot School.

After graduating from college, Fedor Igorevich served in the aviation units of the Russian Aerospace Forces. He loved to fly, served conscientiously and with initiative. He performed combat missions in the Syrian Arab Republic. Since 2023, as part of his unit, he performed tasks in the CBO areasaid Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
