Today in Sevastopol junior sergeant Alexander Rotar was taken on his last journey.
Alexander Ivanovich was born and raised in Sevastopol. He studied at school No. 4, then at school No. 54. Graduated from vocational school No. 3. From 1994 to 1996 served in military units of the Marine Corps. After being discharged from the reserves, he returned to his native Sevastopol and worked in the construction and renovation of residential buildings. In July 2023, he decided to take part in a special military operation and entered into a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry. He was assigned to a communications unit.
Alexander Ivanovich Rotar died in the Staromayorsky area (DPR). There, in the South Donetsk direction, our troops are now repelling attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forcessaid Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
