Today in Sevastopol, junior lieutenant and communications platoon commander Alexei Rublevsky was seen off on his last journey.

Alexey Nikolaevich Rublevsky was born in Vladivostok into the family of a military man; after the 6th grade he moved with his family to Sevastopol. He studied at school No. 8, then graduated from the shipbuilding technical school and Sevastopol Technical University. For some time he worked at a plant repairing missile and artillery weapons of the Black Sea Fleet. Alexey Nikolaevich was always interested in astronomy, so he went to work at the Crimean Observatory in the village of Nauchny, was engaged in scientific activities, and defended his Ph.D. thesis.

In the fall of 2022, as part of partial mobilization, Alexey Nikolaevich was drafted into the ranks of the RF Armed Forces and, after undergoing training, was sent to the area of ​​the Northern Military District. Being a technically competent person prepared for military service, he fought conscientiously, skillfully led the unit entrusted to him, and received the rank of officersaid Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

Alexey Nikolaevich Rublevsky died heroically in the Novopokrovka area of ​​the Zaporozhye region. Let’s remember our hero!
