In Sevastopol, they will begin designing a complex waste processing facility
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Design work on the construction of a complex waste processing facility in Sevastopol will begin in July. This was agreed upon by the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev and the General Director of the Russian Environmental Operator Denis Butsaev during a working meeting.
This is an important project that will allow us to move to a modern system for sorting, processing and disposal of waste. This will be a completely different approach to the entire chain of MSW in Sevastopol. Starting from containers, modern machines that will pick up garbage, to the final result — sorting and recycling of waste , — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
During the meeting, Mikhail Razvozhaev and Denis Butsaev discussed the development of infrastructure for the management of municipal solid waste (MSW), as well as the construction of promising facilities.
We discussed with Mikhail Vladimirovich the development of infrastructure for waste management in Sevastopol, as well as plans for the construction of a complex facility with a capacity of 250 thousand tons. Investments in it are estimated at about 3 billion rubles. It is planned that design work on the facility will begin in July. The creation of such facilities in the Russian regions will make it possible to achieve the indicators of the national project «Ecology» in terms of 100% sorting of waste and reducing their disposal at landfills by half , — said Denis Butsaev.
Recall that an investment agreement on the construction of a complex waste processing facility in Sevastopol was signed within the framework of the XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
