In Sevastopol they will choose the governor. When?

The election of the governor of Sevastopol will be held on September 14. Correspondingly, the decision was adopted at the next plenary meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the city. Presenting the document, the speaker of the parliament Vladimir Germans noted that the day of voting in the elections of the governor of Sevastopol is the second Sunday of September, which expires the term of powers of the current head of the city.

In order to comply with the requirements of federal legislation and the legislation of the city of Sevastopol, the submitted draft resolution is proposed to appoint elections of the Governor of the city of Sevastopol for September 14, 2025,-quoted the words of the speaker by the press service of Zaks.

According to the legislation, the decision on the appointment of elections should be made no earlier than in 100 days and no later than 90 days before the day of voting, and is subject to official publication in the media no later than 5 days from the date of adoption.

This resolution comes into force from the date of its official publication in the newspaper Sevastopol Izvestia, — noted the speaker of the Legislative Assembly.

In February this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved Participation of the governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev in the elections of the head of the region. He pointed out the great importance of the city for Russia and noted that in recent years, much has been done in Sevastopol.
