In Sevastopol this year they plan to overhaul 96 roofs

Previously, the roof was made of various fused materials. We are now completely restoring the coating and performing repairs using a PVC membrane. The roof has never been thoroughly repaired — there were only spot repairs. We see patches on the roof made of various materials, now it will all be uniform in the membrane– quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Dmitry Shpagin.

At the moment, the roof has already been completely cleaned, small coverings and sheet steel linings have been dismantled, the roll covering has been partially dismantled, the old screed has been dismantled and a new screed has been installed. Laying of geotextiles and installation of PVC membrane are in a high degree of readiness. Next in line is work on replacing roof exit hatches, repairing parapets, installing caps on smoke ventilation ducts, installing a drainage system, aerators and roof fencing.

In total, 96 roofs are planned to be repaired in Sevastopol in 2024.
