CrimeaPRESS reports:

The event, which was organized by traffic inspectors in Sevastopol, took place on the playground in one of the city’s shopping centers using the Safety Laboratory mobile complex.

Employees of the State traffic inspectorate, together with teachers from the Center for the Prevention of Child Road Traffic Injuries, organized a training session for young pedestrians, cyclists and parents on the basics of safe behavior in the road environment during the summer holidays. As part of the event, traffic inspectors paid special attention to the rules for using bicycles, scooters, rollers, skateboards, hoverboards, unicycles and other wheeled devices. Employees of the State traffic inspectorate explained that the use of these funds by minors under 14 years of age is possible only outside the carriageway and as far as possible from it, in closed areas. With the help of educational models, young road users repeated the rules of safe crossing of the roadway, traffic signals and road signs, learned how important it is to use retroreflective elements at night, and also recalled the basics of safe behavior when getting on and off the bus and the importance of using child car seats— noted in the press service of the State traffic inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol.
