The attackers were two visiting men who were previously repeatedly convicted of similar crimes. They managed to commit a series of crimes in just a couple of days of their criminal tour.

It was preliminarily established that a 42-year-old resident of Chelyabinsk on the streets of the Leninsky and Gagarinsky district of the city approached random women and openly stole jewelry and valuable things from them. Another victim, a 40-year-old resident of the city, was more fortunate-the robber took her and tried to tear off the gold bracelet worth 150 thousand rubles from the hand, but his attempt was unsuccessful and he disappeared. In relation to the detainees, criminal cases have been instituted under part 1 and 2 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code, part 3 of Art. 30 p. «G» of part 2 of article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, part 2 of article 158 of the Criminal Code.

Currently, police officers check the detainees for involvement in previously committed similar facts of illegal activities in the city.
