This support measure is aimed at creating favorable conditions for children from large families and reducing the financial burden on parents. Compensation is provided at the expense of the federal budget and applies to training under agreements on the provision of paid educational services, -quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol, director of the Department of Education and Science Maxim Krivonos.

Compensation is provided to large families in which a third or subsequent child was born from January 1, 2025.

The right to compensation arises from the moment the third child is born, regardless of whether the child is studying in OTO or VPO at the time of treatment— added Maxim Krivonos.

If the child is already studying on a paid basis, compensation will be accrued from January 1, 2025. If the child is studying at the SPO or VPO at the time of the birth of the third child, compensation will be carried out from the beginning of the school year following the year of birth of the third child.

At the moment, 211 children from large families are studying in the educational institutions of the city of Sevastopol, who can potentially use this support measure.

Governor Mikhail Podvozhaev instructed to consider the possibility of automating the process of receiving documents by establishing interagency interaction.

To obtain compensation, it is necessary to contact the Department of Education of the city of Sevastopol with a statement and a passport.
