In Sevastopol, violations were revealed in the activities of veterinary laboratories in the city markets

The Sevastopol Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor’s Office, with the involvement of specialists from Rosselkhoznadzor, checked compliance with the requirements of legislation on the quality and safety of food products and on veterinary medicine in the city’s markets.

During the inspection, violations were revealed in the activities of the state veterinary laboratories of the State Budgetary Institution “Sevvetcenter” in the markets “Koltso”, “Central” and “Chaika”. It was established that, contrary to the requirements of the law, information about the veterinary and sanitary examination was not entered into the journals of veterinary and sanitary examination of raw milk, raw cream and dairy products. The Environmental Prosecutor’s Office submitted a proposal to the head of the State Budgetary Institution «Sevvetcenter» to eliminate violations of the law, which was reviewed and satisfied,” reported the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.

After the intervention of the supervisory authority, three guilty officials were brought to disciplinary liability, and the violations were eliminated.
