Employees of the Department for Migration and the Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, with the support of the forces of the fighters of the special platoon «Korsun» of the PPSP named after. Vasily Buzin, as part of the “Illegal” operational and preventive measure, checked one of the city hostels, where, according to available information, migrants lived.
At the time of the appearance of law enforcement officers, there were foreigners, mostly citizens of Central Asia, who arrived in the Russian Federation and worked at construction sites in Sevastopol legally in a four-story mini-hotel of an economy class. The police officers checked the documents of the guests for the implementation of labor activities in Russia and checked them against information accounting databases. During the event, law enforcement officers identified six foreign citizens who violated the regime of stay in the Russian Federation. In relation to them, administrative protocols were drawn up under parts 1 and 1.1 of Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation— announced the details of the case in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
Currently, the materials collected by the police have been submitted to the court for consideration on the merits.
