Works of foreign and domestic composers will be performed.
January in the Sevastopol Center of Culture and Arts (Lenin St., ) will host a concert «New Year with an orchestra.» The musical evening «New Year with an Orchestra» will combine the immortal melodies of Strauss and Rossini with the beloved music of Tariverdiev and other Russian composers.
Songs from famous Soviet films and works by foreign musical classics will be performed at the evening. The concert is dedicated to the Old New Year, the organizers said.
The festive New Year atmosphere will be created by the musicians of the Crimean Academic Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea Arzy Medzhidova (mezzo-soprano) and laureate of international competitions Marina German (soprano).
This evening you will enjoy pictures of traditional Christmas balls, scenes from your favorite films, fragments of brilliant musicals and much more. You will hear the music of I. Strauss, E. Webber, A. Ponchielli, G. Rossini, traditional Christmas carols. As well as music from your favorite films — «The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath», «Carnival Night», «Ivan Vasilyevich Changes His Profession» and others , — noted in the SCCA. 25
